Receive Certification
Become the institution's affiliated NIM Certified Adviser for the stated program cycle.
Annual validity: Certification is valid for one year and follows applicable annual updates to NIM courses, requirements, assessment standards, and policies.

Before You Apply
Does NIM provide a fixed curriculum?
No. NIM provides starter course outlines and educator references that institutions may adapt and expand for their own students and teaching context. NIM's official project requirements, evidence standards, submission rules, and assessment criteria remain consistent.
Can a Certified Adviser open an NIM course?
Yes. An active NIM Certified Adviser may open and guide NIM courses using the applicable NIM framework and educator resources. Student registration, final assessment, results, and certificate issuance remain within the official NIM system.
Is the Adviser certificate tied to a Center certificate?
No. Certified Adviser is a personal qualification earned through the applicable training and knowledge test before guiding students. The annual NIM Innovation Project Center certificate is a separate institution credential issued after the institution completes its Center pathway.
Must an adviser teach all nine tracks?
Advisers learn how the nine tracks differ so they can guide appropriate track selection. A course may focus on the tracks most relevant to the adviser's students, subject area, or institution.
Does certification allow an adviser to issue NIM student certificates?
No. Advisers guide project development and submission. NIM independently conducts the final review and issues eligible official results and student certificates.
How long is the certification valid?
The certification is valid for one year. Advisers follow applicable annual updates to NIM course content, project requirements, assessment standards, and policies.
Is this a general teaching licence?
No. NIM Certified Adviser is a program-specific professional certification for delivering NIM courses. It is not a government teaching licence, academic degree, or general teaching qualification.
