Our philosophy

Make innovation a capability
your school can grow.

NIM helps students turn ideas, research and project work into outcomes they can explain, document and share. Our school curriculum program brings that approach into everyday learning through practical course frameworks, project tasks and teaching resources.

01

Start with real questions.

Connect learning to students' surroundings, interests and communities. Help them investigate a meaningful problem before developing a response.

02

Give ideas a structure.

Use guided tasks, research, collaboration and reflection to help students move from a first thought to a project plan they can explain.

03

Build lasting school capacity.

Develop teaching experience, reusable resources and examples of student work that strengthen your school's innovation curriculum over time.

Designed for school life

Start small.
Make room to grow.

For full-time international schools and international curriculum centers, the program can fit around existing schedules, student interests and teaching priorities.

01 / Introduce

A first experience

Use selected activities for an Innovation Day, School Day or a themed club session to introduce students to a new way of thinking.

02 / Explore

A focused project experience

Build a sequence of learning and teamwork into Project Week, Innovation Week or an enrichment program.

03 / Establish

A place in the curriculum

Develop a course over several weeks, a semester elective or a sustained innovation club, adapted to your school's learning goals.

What schools receive

A curriculum that keeps evolving.
Support throughout the year.

Your school subscribes to an actively developed course and an ongoing service. NIM continually refines the curriculum, adds content and tools, and supports implementation so teachers can keep developing the learning experience.

Continuously evolving curriculum

Access course frameworks, project tasks and teaching resources, with updated content, new activities and new tools as they are developed and released.

Ongoing service & support

Receive implementation guidance, teacher support and access to maintained course systems, alongside ongoing improvements to the tools and resources your school uses.

Authorization & recognition

Authorization to run the course at your school, with course completion documentation for students and support for building your school's own innovation learning provision.

Sustainability Innovation Course

Annual authorization & subscription

US$200 per school / year

One annual fee combines authorization to deliver the course with a subscription to its continued development and operation. Throughout the subscription year, your school receives course updates, new content and tools as released, system access and ongoing implementation support.

No additional NIM in-school course fee per student.

A pathway for student growth

First a learning experience.
Then a next step.

The course helps students build an initial project plan or proposal. Students can then continue developing their work, with more mature projects progressing toward official NIM project accreditation.

  1. 01

    Learn & explore

Investigate a question, build knowledge and explore possible responses.

  2. 02

    Plan & present

Shape an initial project proposal, share the thinking and reflect on feedback.

  3. 03

    Develop & document

Continue project execution and build a fuller record of the work and its outcomes.

  4. 04

    Progress to review

When ready, follow the official NIM project submission and accreditation process.

Course completion documentation recognizes the learning experience. Official NIM project accreditation is a separate process with its own submission and review requirements. Explore the NIM process →
